ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

Key Outcomes for Candidates and their Nominated Organisation

  • Candidates are enrolled in a three year Triennial Personal ISO Certification program with ongoing assessment to verify competency (VOC);
  • Candidates undertake a Documentation Review on their nominated Organisations ISO/Industry System prior to completion of all courses;
  • Candidates enter into a three year continuous professional development agreement to support the triennial personal ISO certification program providing unlimited access to the ACI Global secure Academy portal for all resource and personal development needs;
  • At the successful completion of the course the candidate is issued with a Diploma valid for three years and their nominated organisation is issued with a Certificate of Sustainability covering the nominated ISO or Industry Standard/s and Statutory Rules and Regulations.

Course Accreditation and Recognition

This process provides proof against both ISO and or Industry Standards that the candidate and the Organisation have successfuly been trained and deemed "Competent" in both Evaluation and Business Sustainability.

ISO Training Courses and Programs in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

This course sets out to establish what the Occupational Health and Safety Issues are within the Organisation. It will also involve the student getting an Organisation ready to commence the development of a Occupational Health and Safety Management System and establishing a framework in which to work. The participant is assisted with the aid of a ISO Certified Facilitator to ensure they as well as the organisation understand the importance of this foundation to be established, otherwise this can affect the success of the whole development and implementation process of the project.
Length of Programme: 2 days (time taken may vary depending on candidates organisations time and or resources).

This course will involve the student getting to understand Occupational Health and Safety Hazards and associated Risks and how these will relate and impact on an organisations Health and Safety Management System. The participant is assisted with the aid of a ISO Certified Facilitator to ensure they as well as the organisation identifies all of its risks and hazards because these underpin all subsequent health and safety management activities.
Length of Programme: 2 days (time taken may vary depending on candidates organisations time and or resources).

This course will involve the student carrying out a review to determine what is currently happening within the organisation and to look at what is needed in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System being developed. The participant will commence to put controls in place on the documents being developed for the OHSMS to ensure they conform ISO 45001:2018 guidelines, but in the process ensuring they are practical and realistic for the organisation.

This course will involve the student developing the draft Occupational Health and Safety Manual for the organisation. The participant will develop the manual ensuring it relates to the business processes of the organisation and in the process ensuring that it reflects the scope of the business and also relevant and not just for show purposes.

This course will involve the student working with key personal of an organisation in identifying the required documents for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. The participant will also work with key personnel to have existing documentation re written if needed.

This course will assist the participant in implementing Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems documentation and ensuring it meets an organisations objectives. It also involves putting the student, employee or employees through a practical and effective internal auditors training program to ensure the organisation has an effective Internal Audit Programme.
Length of Programme: 3 days (time taken may vary depending on candidates organisations time and or resources).

This course will take the participant through the process to ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Management System of an organisation functions correctly. It will also look at ways to improve any areas of weakness and make final preparations for the on-site Third Party Final Audit to ensure the organisation is ready for certification if required.

The Programme provides participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop and implement a Health and Safety Management System (OHS) for an organisation in conformance with the International Standard ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001/AS/NZS 4801. The programme involves OHS Modules 1 to 5 in the development of the Health and Safety Management System and OHS Modules 6 to 7 in the Implementation of what has been developed in the first five modules. The last two modules OHS 8 and OHS 9 are used for Auditor Professional Development.
Length of Programme: 8 Weeks may vary depending on organisational time and resources.

This programme ensures the student has a through understanding of Basic Health and Safety Issues relevant to their new workplace as well as providing Induction Training for the new employee. The programme will also allow the participant to test their knowledge of what they have learnt and understood from the presentation by participating in the online competency based examination. All Employee Induction and awareness training programmes are modified to cater for each organisations own Business Processes and Induction procedures.
Length of Programme: 1 Hr.

This course will involve the student being trained in all aspects of Health and Safety Issues and Risk Management in line with the requirements of the soon to be released International Health and Safety Management Systems Standard ISO 45001. It will also enable to candidate to perform a review and provide expert feedback as to what is currently happening within the organisation's existing Health and Safety Management System and to ensure it Conforms to the new standard including that of its Interested Parties and National, Industry and Statutory rules and guidelines.
Length of Programme: 1 Day no set time limit is imposed, time taken to complete the course or program is dependent on Candidates and or organisational time commitments and resources.
