Role Responsibilities
Managing Director.
  • Act as the Senior General Manager who is provided the authority to implement and maintain the EOMS and/or Learning Plans; as well as monitoring compliance and continual improvement;
  • Define the organisation’s Quality, Educational, Information Security, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policies, Objectives and Procedures;
  • Define the roles, responsibilities, and authorities of personnel;
  • Define the additional requirements for special needs;
  • Ensure adequate human, technical and financial resources are allocated to implement, maintain and continuously improve;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and other requirements;
  • Monitoring legislation, identifying any changes and communicating them to the General Manager;
  • Ensure EOMS processes needed are established and documented;
  • Promote awareness of customer requirements through monitoring and communicating contract and purchase order requirements;
  • Identify Quality, Educational, Information Security effects, Environmental aspects, Occupational Health and Safety hazards, conduct risk assessments and implement controls in conjunction with the General Manager.
General Manager
  • Develop appropriate EOMS procedures and conformity to Quality, Educational, Information Security and Environmental Management requirements;
  • Acquire, and communicate or disseminate Management System information;
  • Coordinate EOMS meetings, programs, and reviews;
  • Define the additional requirements for special needs;
  • Plan and conduct internal audits;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and other requirements;
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory, legal and other requirements;
  • Plan and conduct training in Quality, Educational, Environmental Information Security and HOccupational Health and Safety Systems, including new employee inductions and refresher training;
  • Identify Quality,Educational Information Security effects, Environmental aspects, Occupational Health and safety hazards, conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimise or prevent issues, incidents and impacts;
  • Coordinate incident investigations and reporting to the workplace controller and relevant authorities, as required
  • Assess service providers’ ability to conform to and with OHS/WHS and Environmental Management requirements;
  • Review EOMS reports, inspections, incidents etc., and following up on recommendations;
  • Report on EOMS performance to the Director and/or Senior Management, including the effectiveness of business processes and potential improvements;
  • Monitoring compliance and continual improvement;
  • Ensure policies, management system and plans are communicated to workers.
Facilitator
  • Develop training programs and needs analysis;
  • Facilitate special needs applications;
  • Undertake assessment marking;
  • Undertake moderation sessions;
  • Understand the application of basic adult education concepts.
  • Understand learning processes.
  • Understand the experiential learning cycle.
  • Understand learning and training design.
  • Understand learning and training communication techniques.
  • Understand group dynamics.
  • Understand and perform the evaluation process.
  • Ensures that the learner understands the professional development pathway as agreed;
  • Undertakes marking is undertaken in a fair, reasoned and balanced manner without bias;
  • Provide guidance where required;
  • Ensure their own professional development including both competencies and capabilities are matched to the course being facilitated.
Mentor
  • Develop training programs and needs analysis;
  • Facilitate special needs applications;
  • Undertake assessment marking;
  • Undertake moderation sessions;
  • Understand the application of basic adult education concepts.
  • Understand learning processes.
  • Understand the experiential learning cycle.
  • Understand learning and training design.
  • Understand learning and training communication techniques.
  • Understand group dynamics.
  • Understand and perform the evaluation process.
  • Ensures that the learner understands the professional development pathway as agreed;
  • Undertakes marking is undertaken in a fair, reasoned and balanced manner without bias;
  • Provide guidance where required;
  • Ensure their own professional development including both competencies and capabilities are matched to the course being facilitated;
  • Provide ongoing professional development to all learners including facilitators and graduates are encouraged to maintain their 3 yearly CPD programs.
